I am excited to announce that I am working on a grade 3 concert band version of my piece for woodwind quartet, Leyland Breezes !

I originally wrote this two movement suite for woodwind quintet in the spring of 2021, thinking about the rolling and swooping hills of England. It began as one stand alone movement, but at the suggestion of my mentor, James Syler, I decided to add a second movement which features a different mood. Movement two is inspired by the image of an abandoned castle, standing alone among the hills.

Now, I am thrilled to partner with Richard Thomas and the Brazoria Wind Symphony, consortium lead, to create a grade 3 concert band piece. The new work will be in the original two movements, with the first being just over 2’00” in length and the second around 3’30”.
