My first piece written for harp, Lamentation features polyrhythms and harmonics. I count myself very lucky that SHSU has a regular harpist, my dear friend Hannah, who was kind enough to work with me to make sure I understood the mechanics of the instrument, as well as perform on my master’s degree recital.
